With the ongoing work at the Bay Bridge that includes new replacement signing and lighting structures, the osprey nest platform was removed in early April for the safety of the workers and ospreys. It is important to note that the platform was removed in compliance with wildlife policies, as there were not eggs nor nestlings present, or even ospreys at the time of removal.

Are You Still in Possession of a Maryland Tolling Ticket or Ticket Book?
Attention Maryland Video Tolling Customers:
In accordance with Governor Larry Hogan’s announcement on Friday, May 14, face coverings are no longer required in E-ZPass Maryland Customer Service Centers or in the Maryland House and Chesapeake House travel plazas on I-95. While face coverings are no longer required within state owned or leased buildings for employees or visitors, they are still recommended for those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is NOT currently affiliated with any third-party bill payment services (i.e. doxo, Prism, Mint, etc.). The MDTA also has NOT granted any of these third-party services the legal authority to use our name, logo and/or materials.
