William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial (Bay) Bridge

The MDTA is seeking applicants to join the Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Group (BBRAG). BBRAG’s purpose is to provide the Authority with an independent, citizen-based perspective on the agency’s operations at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.  Members will serve a three-year term and will be expected to work collaboratively with the MDTA’s staff to provide input relating to Bay Bridge traffic and customer service, and help educate the general public throughout construction projects.

Applications are due on October 7, 2019 and the newly formed BBRAG will take effect on January 1, 2020. BBRAG shall be considered a public body as defined under the Maryland Open Meetings Law.

The Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Group (BBRAG) Meeting Schedule, Agenda & Minutes

The Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Group meets quarterly. The meetings begin at 6 p.m. at the MdTA Police/Automotive Maintenance Building, 881 Oceanic Drive, Annapolis, MD, 21409. Anyone planning to attend a meeting announced below who wishes to receive auxiliary aids, services, or accommodations is invited to contact 711 (MD Relay) at least 48 hours in advance.
