At that time, two-way traffic will switch to the southbound tube until approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30. At that time, two-way traffic will switch back to the northbound tube until approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
This is a tentative schedule that is subject to change at any time due to weather, traffic conditions, emergency incidents, or priority closures.
MDTA will issue additional traffic advisories as work progresses and schedules are finalized.
We remind motorists to obey speed limits and stay in your lane.
Work is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) three-year project to replace the 60-year-old I-895 Bridge and the Holabird Avenue exit ramp north of the Harbor Tunnel and rehabilitate the Harbor Tunnel. The project began in April 2018 and is expected to be completed in summer 2021.
