MDTA Chooses Express Toll Lanes as Selected Alternative
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) has chosen Express Toll Lanes (ETLs) as the Selected Alternative for improvements on I-95 Section 200, a 16-mile portion of I-95 that runs from north of MD 43 in Baltimore County to north of MD 22 in Harford County. MDTA's decision follows many months of study, public and agency review, and detailed engineering and environmental analysis for each of the proposed alternatives. Federal approval agencies have concurred with the selection of ETLs.
Study Area:
The Section 200 Study Area is located along I-95, from north of MD 43 to north of MD 22. It is located in Baltimore and Harford counties and includes the MD 152, MD 24, MD 543 and MD 22 interchanges.
