WORK TO RESULT IN CLOSURE OF RAMP FROM SOUTHBOUND RUSSELL STREET TO SOUTHBOUND I-95 THIS WEEKEND

 

WHAT: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound Russell Street to southbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic.

All work will be performed weather permitting. The MDTA urges motorists to drive with caution and obey all traffic-control devices and lane-control signals. Lane closures are subject to change and closure times are dependent on traffic volumes.

 

(I-895) Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Lane Closures for the Week of March 16, 2015

During tunnel closures at the (I-895) Baltimore Harbor Tunnel, drivers may experience 15-20 minute delays while two-way operations (during which one lane of southbound and northbound traffic is directed into the tunnel that remains open) are implemented. ONGOING WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF ONE NORTHBOUND TUBE OF FORT MCHENRY TUNNEL (I-95) THROUGH THE WEEKEND 

 

During the overnight closures, traffic will be directed through the northbound tube that remains open. Bore 3 (left tube) or Bore 4 (right tube). Traffic volumes are low during the overnight period; however, delays still may occur. Motorists should follow overhead and portable electronic signs.
