WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF I-95 RAMPS IN BALTIMORE CITY STARTING TONIGHT

 

 

WHAT:   The ramp from southbound I-95 to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59) will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour will direct motorists to O’Donnell Street (Exit 57), to Interstate Avenue, to Ponca Street, to O’Donnell Street, to northbound I-95, to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59). 

 

The ramp from northbound MD 295 (Russell Street) to northbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour will direct motorists to Russell Street, to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to southbound I-395, to northbound I-95. 

 

The ramp from northbound I-95 to Hanover Street (Exit 54) will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour will direct motorists to Key Highway (Exit 55), to eastbound McComas Street, to a u-turn onto westbound McComas Street, to Hanover Street.

 

WHEN:  Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-95 to Eastern Avenue will be closed Thursday, May 9, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound MD 295 to northbound I-95 will be closed Thursday, May 9, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-95 to Hanover Street will be closed Thursday, May 9, and Sunday, May 12, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

WHY:  Crews will be performing concrete repairs.
