WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY

CLOSURES OF RAMPS IN BALTIMORE CITY

 

WHAT:          The ramp from northbound I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to Howard Street, to westbound Lombard Street, to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. 

The ramp from Russell Street to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and the ramp from Russell Street to southbound I-395 will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route to southbound I-395 will direct motorists to Pratt Street, to Howard Street, to southbound I-395. The detour route to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard will direct motorists to Paca Street, to Lombard Street, to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.

The ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists, to I-695 East (Outer Loop), to southbound MD 295 (Exit 7A).                                  

WHEN:          Weather permitting, the ramps from I-395 and Russell Street to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, and the ramp from Russell Street to southbound I-395 closures will occur Friday, Nov. 3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Weather permitting, the southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 ramp closure will occur Saturday, Nov. 4; Sunday, Nov. 5; Saturday, Nov. 11; and Sunday, Nov. 12; from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.                                   

WHY:             Crews will be performing paving operations to the ramps from I-395 and Russell Street to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and the ramp from Russell Street to southbound I-395. Crews will be performing annual inspections to the ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295.
