WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY CLOSURES OF I-95 RAMPS IN BALTIMORE CITY THIS WEEKEND

 

WHAT: The ramp from northbound MD 295 (Russell Street) to northbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to Russell Street, to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to southbound I-395, to northbound I-95.

The ramp from Washington Boulevard (US 1 ALT) to southbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic. The southbound detour route will direct motorist to Caton Avenue, to southbound I-95. The northbound detour route will direct motorists to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to southbound I-395, to southbound I-95.

The ramp from northbound I-95 to Dundalk Avenue (Exit 58) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59), to Kane Street, to Dundalk Avenue.

WHEN: Weather permitting, the northbound MD 295 to northbound I-95 ramp closures will occur Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10, from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Weather permitting, the Washington Boulevard to southbound I-95 ramp closure will occur Sunday, Sept. 10, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Weather permitting, the northbound I-95 to Dundalk Avenue ramp closure will occur Sunday, Sept. 10, from 3 to 10 a.m.

WHY: The ramps from northbound MD 295 to northbound I-95 and Washington Boulevard to southbound I-95 will be closed for annual inspections. The ramp from northbound I-95 to Dundalk Avenue (Exit 58) will be closed for pothole repairs.
