“Getting Your Foot in the Door”
Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017
9 a.m. to Noon
MDTA Police Headquarters
4330 Broening Highway

At the last event in June, the MDTA showcased two businesses for their excellent job on achieving the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal and MBE performance on the Deck Rehabilitation and Joint Modification of Bridges on I-95 South of the Fort McHenry Tunnel Project. This project was completed in 2016 with a successful 26 percent MBE goal achievement.
During each event, staff provides information about procurement opportunities available at the MDTA, other Transportation Business Units and the State of Maryland.
The Sept. 16th event will focus on the various “secrets to success” when doing business with the State of Maryland, including how to navigate the eMaryland Marketplace website. The Department of General Services will be on-hand to present this important information.
The event is FREE and light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited so if you're interested, please sign up today by contacting the MDTA Outreach office at 410-537-5697 or mdtaoutreach@mdta.state.md.us.
Please note that this is the last outreach event of the year. The next event will be held in March 2018.
