I-95 ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS STUDY VIRTUAL MEETING ONLINE

WHAT: The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (Baltimore City DOT) have posted a "virtual meeting" on MDTA's website for those who could not attend the two public open houses in November 2016. The open houses were held for interested parties to learn more about the I-95 Access Improvements Study, to provide input and to review alternative options for infrastructure improvements.

To view the virtual meeting, visit mdta.maryland.gov. From the homepage, click "Toll Dollars @ Work" on the left navigation bar, then click "I-95 Access Improvements Study" on the left navigation bar under "Projects and Studies," and then click "Virtual Meeting" on the left navigation bar.

The virtual meeting shows seven brief videos of the display boards that were at the open houses with a voiceover explaining each one.

WHY: The MDTA and the Baltimore City DOT are studying proposed transportation improvements to support existing and planned development in the Port Covington area. The improvements being studied are meant to ensure that the I-95 corridor and major local roads, including Hanover Street, McComas Street and Key Highway, will continue to connect people to where they live, work and play in an efficient manner.
