WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF RAMPS FROM SOUTHBOUND I-95 IN BALTIMORE CITY THIS WEEKEND

 

WHAT: The ramp from southbound I-95 to Caton Avenue (Exit 50) will be closed temporarily to traffic.

The detour route will direct motorists to I-695 (Exit 49A), to Hollins Ferry Road (Exit 9), to northbound I-695, to northbound I-95, to Caton Avenue (Exit 50).

The ramp from southbound I-95 to northbound I-395 (Exit 53) will be closed temporarily to traffic.

The detour route will direct motorists to Caton Avenue (Exit 50), to northbound I-95, to northbound I-395 (Exit 53).

WHEN: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-95 to Exit 50 will be closed Friday, Aug. 28, from 10 p.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 29.

Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-95 to Exit 53 will be closed Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 p.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 30.

WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The ramp closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
