WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF RAMP FROM SOUTHBOUND I-95 TO NORTHBOUND I-395 IN BALTIMORE CITY THIS WEEK

WHAT: The ramp from southbound I-95 to northbound I-395 (Exit 53) will be closed temporarily to traffic.

The detour route will direct motorists to Caton Avenue (Exit 50), to northbound I-95, to northbound I-395 (Exit 53).

WHEN: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-95 to Exit 53 will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Thursday, Aug. 27, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The ramp closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
