WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF RAMPS FROM KEITH AVENUE TO I-95 IN BALTIMORE CITY

 

 

WHAT:          The ramps from Keith Avenue to I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The westbound detour will direct motorists to Keith Avenue, to Clinton Street, to Boston Street, to Interstate Avenue, to I-95.  The eastbound detour will direct motorists to New Vail Street, to Newkirk Street, to Boston Street, to Interstate Avenue, to I-95.

 

WHEN:          Weather permitting, Wednesday, Jan. 9, through Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. 

 

WHY:             Toll Dollars At Work: The closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) three-year, $189 million I-895 Bridge Project to replace the 60-year-old bridge north of the Harbor Tunnel.  The project is expected to be complete in summer 2021.
