TRAFFIC SHIFT AND WEEKEND RIGHT LANE CLOSURE ON

I-395 LEAVING BALTIMORE CITY

WHAT:     All traffic lanes on southbound I-395 (leaving Baltimore City) will shift to the left of the work area between the Howard Street on-ramp and the I-95 split.

The right lane on southbound I-395 will be temporarily closed between the Howard Street on-ramp and the I-95 split.

WHEN:     Weather permitting, the southbound I-395 shift will be in effect by Saturday,  Nov. 14, for approximately two weeks.

Weather permitting, the southbound I-395 right lane closure will occur Friday,            Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.

WHY:       Toll Dollars At Work: The traffic shift and lane closure is part of the Maryland   Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
