TRAFFIC SHIFT AND WEEKEND RIGHT LANE CLOSURE ON
I-395 LEAVING BALTIMORE CITY
WHAT: All traffic lanes on southbound I-395 (leaving Baltimore City) will shift to the left of the work area between the Howard Street on-ramp and the I-95 split.
The right lane on southbound I-395 will be temporarily closed between the Howard Street on-ramp and the I-95 split.
WHEN: Weather permitting, the southbound I-395 shift will be in effect by Saturday, Nov. 14, for approximately two weeks.
Weather permitting, the southbound I-395 right lane closure will occur Friday, Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The traffic shift and lane closure is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
