ESSENTIAL EMERGENCY WORK TO RESULT IN OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF INNER LOOP OF I-695 AT CURTIS CREEK DRAWBRIDGE NEXT WEEK

Closure From Friday, January 20, 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21

Use I-895/Harbor Tunnel or I-95/Fort McHenry Tunnel as Alternate Routes

WHAT:           The Inner Loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to Quarantine Road (Exit 1), to Hawkins Point Road, to Pennington Avenue, to Ordnance Road, to northbound MD 10, to Inner Loop I-695.

Drivers are encouraged to use I-895 or I-95 as alternate routes.

WHEN:           Weather permitting, the Inner Loop of I-695 will be closed Friday, January 20, at 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21.  

WHY:              Crews will be performing essential emergency work on span locks.
