The Maryland Department of Information Technology (“DoIT”) offers translations of the content through Google Translate. Because Google Translate is an external website, DoIT does not control the quality or accuracy of translated content. All DoIT content is filtered through Google Translate which may result in unexpected and unpredictable degradation of portions of text, images and the general appearance on translated pages. Google Translate may maintain unique privacy and use policies. These policies are not controlled by DoIT and are not associated with DoIT’s privacy and use policies. After selecting a translation option, users will be notified that they are leaving DoIT’s website. Users should consult the original English content on DoIT’s website if there are any questions about the translated content.

DoIT uses Google Translate to provide language translations of its content. Google Translate is a free, automated service that relies on data and technology to provide its translations. MDTA POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL CRASH ON I-95 IN BALTIMORE CITY

Witnesses Asked to Call 410-537-1209

BALTIMORE (July 14, 2026) – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning in Baltimore City. Shortly before 7 a.m., MDTA Police Officers assigned to the Central Command Detachment responded to the northbound lanes of I-95 near Russell Street (Exit 52).

Responding officers located a blue Suzuki motorcycle, a silver Hyundai sedan, and a white Chevrolet SUV which had been involved in a crash. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the sedan and the SUV were not injured.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or any of the vehicles prior to the crash is asked to call the MDTA Police at 410-537-1209.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, a nationally accredited force, is the eighth-largest law enforcement agency in the State with more than 500 sworn and civilian law enforcement professionals. MDTA Police Officers provide law enforcement services at the MDTA’s highways, bridges and tunnels, at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, and at the Port of Baltimore.
