Bay Bridge (US 50/301) Lane Closures and Traffic Patterns Scheduled for the Week of Feb. 15-21, 2015 All work will be performed weather permitting. The MDTA urges motorists to drive with caution and obey all traffic-control devices and lane-control signals. Lane closures are subject to change and closure times are dependent on traffic volumes. REMINDER: Headlights are required at all times on the bridge. The eastbound span may be closed Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following morning and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning for preservation/maintenance work or routine annual inspections. Two-way traffic will operate on the westbound span during the full eastbound span closures. One lane of the eastbound span may be closed Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for preservation/maintenance work. Two-way traffic will operate on the westbound span. One lane of the westbound span may be closed Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for preservation/maintenance work. When daytime two-way traffic is in effect on the westbound span, toll lanes 4 through 7 will be directed into contra-flow traffic on the westbound span. Motorists wishing to use an E-ZPass® Only lane to access the eastbound span should use toll lane 9. Monday through Friday, one lane will be closed for approximately 15 minutes for contractor pick-up. Note: Concrete repair and replacement project underway at Bay Bridge toll plaza. Lanes 1-3 and associated toll booths remain continuously (24/7) closed.
