Inclement Weather Likely To Prevent Two-Way Operations During Afternoon Rush-Hour This Week

Motorists advised to call 1-877-BAYSPAN (229-7726) for current traffic conditions.

 

Inclement weather will likely prevent officials from implementing two-way operations (during which one lane of eastbound traffic is directed to the westbound span) at the Bay Bridge this week. Drivers may experience delays during the afternoon rush-hour periods. Officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and will implement two-way operations if possible. Rain is expected throughout our region for the remainder of this week. Reduce normal travel speeds and increase your following distance in these conditions. Keep your vehicle’s lights on to increase your visibility to other motorists.
