WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY CLOSURES OF
I-95 RAMPS IN BALTIMORE CITY
HAZMAT Vehicles Must Use Exit 57 Before the Fort McHenry Tunnel
WHAT: The ramp from northbound MD 295 (Russell Street) to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight. The detour will direct motorists to Russell Street, to southbound I-395, to northbound I-95.
The ramp from southbound I-95 to Keith Avenue (Exit 56) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to O’Donnell Street (Exit 57), to South Newkirk Street, to Newgate Avenue, to New Vail Street, to Keith Avenue.
Note: The last exit for HAZMAT vehicles before the Fort McHenry Tunnel will be Exit 57 (O’Donnell Street).
WHEN: Weather permitting, the northbound MD 295 to northbound I-95 ramp closure will occur Monday, Oct. 23, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Weather permitting, the southbound I-95 to Keith Avenue ramp closure will occur Saturday, Oct. 28, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHY: The closure of the ramp northbound MD 295 to northbound I-95 is for pothole repairs. Crews will be performing annual inspections to the ramp from southbound I-95 to Keith Avenue.
