WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF NORTHBOUND RIGHT TUBE (BORE 4) OF FORT MCHENRY TUNNEL (I-95) IN BALTIMORE CITY TUESDAY WHAT: The northbound right tube (Bore 4) of the Fort McHenry Tunnel (I-95) will be closed temporarily. All northbound traffic will be directed through the northbound left tube (Bore 3). Consider I-695 (Key Bridge) or I-895 if destinations are north of Baltimore City. WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 24, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Bore 4 will close to vehicular traffic. Bore 4 is scheduled to reopen to traffic by 2:30 p.m. Bore 3 (left tube) or Bore 4 (right tube) will close to vehicular traffic from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Pay attention to overhead and portable electronic signs. Please note that additional temporary, off-peak closures may occur as necessary. The MDTA will issue traffic advisories when additional closures are scheduled. WHY: Crews will be performing ongoing emergency pump repairs.
