Holiday Travel Tips For Maryland’s Toll Facilities
BALTIMORE, MD – With the July 4th holiday falling on a Thursday this year, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) anticipates heavy traffic volumes on the Bay Bridge starting Wednesday, July 3, through Sunday, July 7.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS TORCH RUN TO CROSS WESTBOUND BAY BRIDGE WEDNESDAY MORNING
On Wednesday, June 5, at approximately 11 a.m., the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Maryland will be crossing the westbound span of the Bay Bridge. The right and center lanes (buffer lane) will be closed temporarily while runners make their way across the bridge. Minimal traffic delays are expected. Please use caution when traveling the bridge.
